About The Event
We invite your high school youth to join the Flint Mission Project on June 18-23 to help deserving families in Flint, Michigan with home repairs. The mission of the Flint Mission Project is to show the community of Flint that there is hope in Jesus Christ! Eligble youth are those who are entering into 9th grade in the fall of 2023 through 12th graders who just graduated in Spring 2023. **Must register by May 31st; More details and link to register below:
Details:
Dates: Sunday, June 18th at 3:30pm thru Friday, June 23rd at noon.
Room & Board: Youth stay at the Calvary United Methodist Church
Cost: Is $300 per person for room, board and supplies. *Please don't let the cost be a deal breaker as we financial help may be available.
Chaperones: The youth will be accompanied by chaperones during all times.

Payment: We accept cash, check and you may also may via our Vanco mobile app.
Parent/guardian volunteer opps: There may be an opportunity for parents/guardians to volunteer during the mission, if help is needed.
About the Flint Mission Project:
The Flint Mission Project consists of volunteers who preform short-term mission work in Flint, Michigan. The project is overseen by members of the Calvary United Methodist Church (Flint, MI) bringing volunteers together to participate in short-term mission work in the Flint area. Past project include stripping and re-shingling roofs, painting houses, rebuilding porches, drywall work, landscaping, rebuilding/repairing porch steps and railings, minor plumbing repairs, repairing kitchen cupboards, and removing and replacing windows.
