Join our Hospitality Group!

We are looking for people of all ages to join our Hospitality Group to help welcome church family & visitors on Sunday mornings. Key needs include:

• Greeters at both doors 15 minutes before each service starts to welcome people, and for a ten or so minutes after the service to thank people for joining us. Please consider committing to at least one Sunday a month for one of the services through December. We'll plan for 2024 down the road. For those of you with children, they'd be a great addition to the greeting line!
• Ushers at the main doors to the Worship Center - arrive 15 minutes prior to your service to pass out bulletins, discretely count the number of participants in worship during announcements, and offer assistance to late arrivals who may need to find seats.
• Welcome Center needs include one person 15 minutes prior to and after each service (this covers the fellowship half hour) to provide info/assistance to anyone seeking it. Also, acknowledge/greet and thank people as they walk by if you're not busy helping someone.
• Service Captains require a bit more time in the hall. They are volunteers who are willing to be out in the general areas during a service to greet late comers, assist (if needed) people who may need to exit the worship service, simply be present, and then walk through the worship center after service to pick up anything needing to be picked up (coffee cups, bulletins, etc.). This is a great opportunity for anyone able to spend an entire morning at church once a month - serve then worship, or worship then serve!

Each volunteer for any of the above would take one service on one Sunday a month (or more if desired) and that would be their commitment. A calendar and contact list will be made available to everyone who is participating. Should you become unavailable for one of your Sundays, it would be up to you to switch Sundays or seek a replacement with someone on the list.
