About The Event
Staying connected to others on the journey is essential and life-giving. There will be an opportunity to do just that at Rediscover Conference - Embracing our Methodist Heritage at the Pilgrim Global Methodist Church in Saint Johns, Michigan. Come for a time for worship, prayer, and inspiration starting at 3:00 PM Thursday and ending 3:00 PM Saturday.
Rediscover Conference is an opportunity for you to connect with other pastors and lay people who are part of, or interested in the Global Methodist Church. The goals of the Conference are to:
- Reclaim and rediscover our Methodist heritage
- Network with others in the GMC in our region and state
- Be encouraged and hopeful about our future together
- Receive helpful information about the new denomination
The Rediscover Conference will include times of worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ, prayer, meals together, breakout lunch sessions, a question and answer session, preaching from Bishop Mark Webb, and powerful teaching from Dr. Ken Collins. Rev. Dr. Scott Pattison, President Pro-Tem of the Great Lakes Provisional Annual Conference will share updates as we prepare to launch the Great Lakes Conference connecting together Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin congregations and clergy.
The Michigan Chapter of the WCA is graciously covering expense of the speakers for this conference, which means tickets for the Rediscover Conference cost only $40, plus fees from Eventbrite, so that we can cover the cost of food.
