What to Expect at the Open House:

6:30 PM - 7 PM: Program Overview for AHG & Trail Life (combined session)

7 PM - 8 PM: Trail Life and AHG split into two sessions to provide parents a deeper overview of activities, costs, and leader interaction/Q&A. (You also can register at this time or you may register later online.) Boys & Girls eligible to participate will have an AHG or Trail Life troop activity during this same time with respective troop leaders.

Thrive Church is the charter organization for the American Heritage Girl Troop MI-3303 and Trail Life Troop MI-1199. The troops meet weekly on the same night during the week. So it's a one-night-stop if you enroll your son(s) & daughter(s)! No need to sign up, just show up.

About AHG:

American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a Christian-based Scouting-like organization for girls 6 to 18 years of age. The organization was founded in 1995 by a group of parents wanting a faith-based, scout-type character development program for their daughters. The AHG Program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country. The organization has more than 52,000 members (2020) with troops or individuals ("trailblazers") in all 50 states of the United States and for American expatriates in fifteen other countries.

About Trail Life USA:

Trail Life USA is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure, boys from Kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created.
