New Beginnings Capital Campaign

Dear Thrive Church members and friends, Thrive Church recently voted overwhelmingly for a new beginning. We are a united and enthusiastic congregation. On July 1, we will officially become a congregation of the Global Methodist Church. These are exciting times for Thrive and you are an important part of our future.

 

We invite your financial support of the transition in paying off the property claims of our former denomination of approximately $421,000. This is an amount slightly less than our yearly operating budget of $456,000. This payment completes the process of disaffiliation.

Multiple donors have already given over $35,000. The Leadership Team included $50,000 in our current budget towards this purpose. We have also been pre-approved for a low-interest loan from the Michigan Area Loan Fund to cover the balance of our costs. Should we receive sufficient gifts beforehand, we will not need to utilize this loan.
